Coreal Video Studio - Kim Bradbury

In class, we were set a task to experiment and edit sample video's, exploring the techniques colour edditting, adding text, changing the lighting and audio etc. This contributed to the development of my work as I learnt many things, such as:
(a) how to add a title before a scene begins

(b) how to overlay images and 'paint' which I played around with
(c) experimenting with credits to add at the end of the movie (d) how to add effects before and during a scene.
When it comes to the actual editing process of my movie, I feel that I will be at much more of an advantage because of the practicing of experimentation with this software. We also used Coreal Video Studio at the start of the year when editing our preliminary tasks, so we are all very familiar with how it works

Here is a screen grab of the softwear we are using:
We use the VideoStudio Editor to edit and cut our film clips.

on this screen we can pause, play and cut our clips. To cut scenes you use the scissor icon and then you can add your next clip. By doing this you can achieve techniques such as match on action.

this screengrab shows you where the clips are put into on the top left and the timeline at the bottom where you can cut and overlap clips to create the final project.
At the top you can see the tabs, "Capture, Edit, Effect, Overlay, Title, Audio, Share."
To edit we stay in the tab "Edit" mainly but to use the different effects you go to the appropriate tab.
Once you are finished and ready to publish your video, select the "Share" tab.

You then click "Create Video File" and choose the form that you want to save the film in. You can also share straight to "youtube"
